Pastor Carolyn V. Ricks is a sought-after empowerment preacher, revolutionary thinker, entrepreneur, and a powerhouse leader. She is considered a bold, demon slayer, woman of God who walks in total authority under the leading of the Holy Spirit.

As a catalyst for change and a voice of hope, she serves alongside her husband, Apostle Jullian. T. Ricks, as the Pastor of Church of Destiny in Newport News, Virginia.

 

Pastor Carolyn Ricks was born on March 20, 1980 and matriculates from the Smithfield School system of Virginia. She is a compassionate and loving wife to Apostle Jullian T. Ricks and mother of five beautiful and radiant children. She is the CEO/Founder of Lady Carolyn Enterprise LLC (Custom Skirts and Apparel designed by Lady C).

 

Pastor Carolyn became a licensed minister under UHCOL, where Bishop William Blackwell Sr. serves as presiding prelate, in 2013. After years of faithful and committed service, God released her and her husband to birth Church of Destiny, where she was ordained Elder and currently affirmed as Pastor.

God has given Pastor Carolyn a passion to minister to women who encounter life altering challenges such as abuse, divorce, joblessness, grief, rejection, depression, and abandonment. When she preaches, she translates powerful spiritual truth into everyday language that empowers individuals to transform their lives and all of the lives connected to them. Her message brings forth purpose, meaning, dignity, and hope to a global audience.

 

She proudly professes the writings of King David in the 27th Psalm and verse 4 where he declares, “One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple.”
